Idle RPGs on iOS: A Look at Latin America's Market in Q1 2021

The first quarter of 2021 has been an interesting period for Idle RPG applications on the iOS platform in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a glimpse into the performance of the top contenders in this category.

Hero Wars: Alliance showed a remarkable uptrend in downloads, starting from around 3K in the last week of December 2020 and peaking at nearly 40K in mid-February 2021. The weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, with an impressive rise from around 9K to over 43K in the same period.

On the other hand, Idle Heroes - Idle Games witnessed a relatively stable pattern in downloads, hovering around 1K per week, with a slight uptick in March. The active users remained consistent, averaging around 4K throughout the quarter.

For Magic Rush: Heroes, the downloads and active users demonstrated a modest yet steady presence, maintaining figures in the low hundreds for downloads and slightly fluctuating around the 350 mark for active users.

X.D. Global's Ulala: Idle Adventure showed a slight decrease in downloads over the quarter, with a drop from around 300 to just over 100. The active users experienced minor fluctuations but largely remained in the 700s range.

Lastly, Taptap Heroes:Idle RPG had downloads that varied week by week, ranging from as low as 37 to as high as 122. The weekly active users count presented a gentle decline from around 1.6K to just above 1.3K by the end of March.
